This is our basic light-controlled switch. It turns lights on at sunset and off at sunrise and can be used for billboard lighting or other outdoor lighting applications where the lights will be on all night. The PC20 is environmentally-sealed in a plastic enclosure with mounting tabs. Electrical connections are made to four 8” wire leads coming out of the back of the unit, two for 12-volt power in and two for connection to the light or other load that you want to turn on at night. Maximum load current is 20 amps. Current consumption is 3 mA in daylight and 90mA when load is turned on. If you need a light control as well as a PV charge control and low battery voltage protection, use the Trace C-12 charge control. 1-year warranty Uses: The unit esn be used to turn on any 12 volt light or 12 vc4lt dc load under 20 Amps. Common uses are lights including billboards, houses, barns or other outdoor lighting applications where the lights w~ll be on all night. The unit can be coupled with a timer, 54.7120 Flexcharger Timer (8Amp load limit) or 54.1738 12v Quartz 24 hour Timer (20 Amp load limit) to run lights on a timed basis if so needed. The unit weight is approximately 9 oz. It is 3" long (3 7/8" between mounting tabs ends) x 1 1/2" high x 2" wide.
