The Mate connects to multiple OutBack inverters or controllers through a communication hub using ethernet type cabling and RJ45 "phone" jacks. The Mate also incorporates a real-time clock/calender to allow time-of-day programmed operations and an 8 line by 80 character backlit display to view multiple measurements at the same time and ease programming. Also included with the Mate is an RS232 data output for computerized data-logging. OutBack is currently working towards a Windows based graphical user interface for data-logging and internet connectivity.
